We all know and have come to understand that our World is not a tranquil planet as was intended with all it's beauty and grace. We've all experienced the shock and disbelief when confronted with the tragic current events that have taken place world wide in both the past and present.  All of these events cause hurt, heartache and spiritual destruction affecting so many lives, many of those children.

But do we have to accept this world condition?  NO!

If those of us unite and do whatever is in our hearts and power, our strength in numbers can create a dynamic force that will be felt across the globe.  Enveloping our youth, through compassion, love and assistance, empowering them to seek the truth............ that peace is the answer.

We invite you to share in this mission, and offer the following information to explain our methods to achieve this unified goal.

Who We Are

Our organization was founded by Denis Mugabo, a Canadian of Rwanda origin.  Sponsored by World University Service of Canada -based in Ottawa.  Denis studied at the University of Montreal.  He did Theology, Social Work and Psychology.  He also speaks six languages.

Denis is married and lives is Kigali, Rwanda with his wife Dativa and their 4 children Manna (7), Sonomi (6), Desta (4) and Wonder (7mos.)

Growing up in a refugee camp outside of Rwanda, he's made it a mission to prevent children to have to endure the pain and suffering like so many during his upbringing during the genocide.

Denis Mugabo has already helped many children, some orphaned and living in the streets to help themselves.  By providing training and education in the Fine Arts, many children learned the skills necessary to find employment such as painting.  To date the children's school in Kigali has 80 students. (June 2006)

In 2006, Denis incorporated World Peace Evangelism and Education Ministry in Alberta, Canada. Corporate Access #5412171588

Building a Trade School in rural Burema (tentative start-up date was Jan. 2006) will allow many of the children and women ways to gain skills, such as painting, sewing etc.  The school has now started with 15 children. (June 2006)

Denis established a  School for children (shown in the picture) in 2002.   This school is currently active and presently provides 60+ students the opportunity to receive a proper education in a safe environment.

After the genocide, Denis helped a lot of the children and adults to continue their education, enabling some to attend  University.  Many mothers who became widows were given the opportunity through this program to establish a means to improve their quality of life and as well for their families.

Sharing in the vision is the key to success.  A Dispensary Clinic is a upcoming project Denis is planning for.

Manna & Robin Clinic Center located in rural Burema.  As the building is now under renovation for a open date of March, 2006 is scheduled.  The Clinic will act as basic facility to serve the surrounding communities, with the possibilities to provide transport to the larger medical facility when required. Opening date pending due to lack of funds. (June 2006)

The Vision

The vision is pure and simple.  "Friends of Peace" memberships can be obtained by anyone, anywhere, creating a network of caring individuals worldwide delivering the same message.  The urgent need for World Peace.

By establishing "Friends of Peace" from Rwanda throughout the World, Peace Makers will strive hand in hand helping children to have an education, and environment to grow up with a strong sense of self worth, security and serenity.

What a great feeling knowing that your helping hands linked with others around the world  will change children's lives for the better.  Receiving information as a member of all the mission's goals and achievements is a rewarding experience, that in turn can affect your very life.

The Mission

Communication is the key.  Members will receive current information in our newsletter pertaining to the organizations developments, programs in progress and celebration of achievements.  From one end of the earth to the other, assistance, guidance and support from fellow peace makers will allow our message to be delivered through Television, Radio, Newspaper and other Media sources.  Press Conferences, Seminars and Crusades of Peace are our planned goals to bring to the people - the information to enable the "Friends of Peace" membership to grow and allow "Peace Makers" to be established around the globe.
